Vice-President of the Energy Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines of Tehran, in an interview with Nipna’s correspondent, said: To realize diversity in the portfolio of petrochemicals and to prevent selling the crude, the downstream petrochemical industries should reach a stable position, and in this direction, large petrochemical companies must take steps to complete the value chain.
Hamid Reza Salehi, regarding the petrochemical industry and passing through selling the crude, said: I believe that now no organization agrees with selling the raw materials and, regarding the conditions of the industry, export and sale of the finished products can bring good added value.
As far as we can, we need to create added value in the downstream industry, in which we need to provide the necessary tools and business space, and in this way, the private sector and the banking system will be highly effective.
Deputy Chairman of the Energy Commission of the Chamber of Commerce of Tehran stated that the production of petrochemical products should be competitive and qualitative. The false competition should not cause harm to the industry and all the active units in the petrochemical industry.
